GPX 5000®

Field electromagnetic surveys provide information with a high level of detail, such as mineral deposits.

During a field electromagnetic survey, the physical principles of prospection involve identifying whether the located object is a ferrous metal (iron and steel) or a non-ferrous metal (non-magnetic). It is the ideal non-destructive method for shallow subsurficial investigations, with excellent results in the detection of buried objects.

This portable device can be used on a field exploration survey which is carried out on a previously defined grid of a possible geological anomaly. The data is then processed and interpreted in a lab in order to generate geo-referenced imagery adapted to diverse Geographic Information System (G.I.S.) software.
